The AXON Type 30 Choke is available in a positive and adjustable (manual) design. The positive choke has a fixed size orifice and is used primarily in production applications. The adjustable choke has a manually operated needle or stem, which provides variable flow rates. A visual indicator provides an indication of approximate orifice size for flow rate calculations.

Available in manual or hydraulic designs, the AXON Type 31 Choke has a standard cylindrical orifice gate and seat design. The gate and seat are solid tungsten carbide, which are reversible for two complete seal and wear areas. Body configurations, gate and seat designs are interchangeable between the manual and hydraulic choke allowing flexibility in choke and kill manifold designs.

The AXON Type 32 is a hydraulic super choke that utilizes two flat tungsten carbide discs with a half round cut out in each disc. One disc stays stationary while the other rotates, providing a variable orifice according to requirements. The lapped matting surfaces of the discs provide a positive seal when the choke is closed. Choke control panels are available in single or dual choke operation.
